I will be with you as I was with Moses

I will be with you as I was with Moses

No man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life. Just as I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will not leave you or forsake you.-Joshua 1:5

Lord said to Joshua, “I was with Moses, so I will be with you”.  Lord promising you the same promise to you also.  On hearing these words, surely you will rejoice.  Some people may think like this.  “Moses was selected and called by God.  Above all the men which were upon the face of the earth, Moses was very meek.  He spoke with Lord face to face.  So Lord was with Moses”.  You may say, “my life is not like that then how Lord would be with me as He was with Moses.  These days, even believers think that Lord is only with the selected people always and some believes, Lord only hears their prayers immediately.  Some believes that God do mighty things only in the life of the people who are living most holy life and God only works in the people that who are in prayer all times.  Dear beloved, God is with us not because of our holiness, faithfulness and prayerful life.   Lord God is with us always because of His love and mercy.   I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.(Mat 28:20)  for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. (Heb 13:5)  Lord God is with us always as His promise is an unconditional promise.  Because of His Love upon you, He is with you always and guard you always.   He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.   Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.(Ps 121:3-4).

When God is promising you, “He is with you as He was with Moses”, He is confirming the things and deeds that he is going to do in your life.  Dear beloved, as Lord God is with you, don’t get fear and troubled.  You will see the marvelous things that Lord is going to do in your life.  Lord God was with Peter and John the Apostle.  The time of prayer was about three o'clock in the afternoon, and Peter and John were going into the temple.     A man who had been born lame was being carried to the temple door. Each day he was placed beside this door, known as the Beautiful Gate. He sat there and begged from the people who were going in.   The man saw Peter and John entering the temple, and he asked them for money.    But they looked straight at him and said, "Look up at us!"    The man stared at them and thought he was going to get something.    But Peter said, "I don't have any silver or gold! But I will give you what I do have. In the name of Jesus Christ from Nazareth, get up and start walking."     Peter then took him by the right hand and helped him up. At once the man's feet and ankles became strong,    and he jumped up and started walking. He went with Peter and John into the temple, walking and jumping and praising God.  In this incident, Peter says, “I don't have any silver or gold”.  But He had one thing greater than that and that was the presence of God.  The great blessings are the Lord God is with you and His presences are with you always.   Lord God is with you always and you will see the might things of God.

And those who know your name put their trust in you, for you, O Lord, have not forsaken those who seek you.-Psalm 9:10
